| Field notes | Herb. Leaves arising from rhizome laying 20-30 cm underneath the ground, and saucer shaped (7 cm tall, diam. 15 cm). Leaves palmately lobed, ca. 1x0.7 m. Petiole with chambers. Nom. vern.: Papayuëla (Span.). Use: For snake bites (non specific). Prep.: The dried rhizome is ground and the flour mixed with alcohol is drunk. |
