| Field notes | Clustered palm. Stem collected about 120 cm tall and 1.5-2 cm in diam. Leaf sheath 22-27 cm long, proximal 20 cm tubular, covered parts yellow, exposed parts green. Petiole 40-50 cm long, green, glabrous. Rachis 80-90 cm, green, glabrous. Pinnae 2 X 18, opposite to subopposite, regulary divided and equally spaced proximally and in the middle part, distally irregulary divided. Inflorescence greenish yellow rachilla and flowers yellow at pistillate anthesis. Buds and flowers fixed in Navashin |
