| Field notes | Inflorescence continuing growth throughout anthesis? Two sizes of inflorescences collected.: I. Prophyll 25 cm. Sheathing peduncular bract 95 cm. Peduncle 36 cm. Rachis 27 cm. Number of Rachillae 24, these branching proximally and bearing up to 10 second order rachillae. First order rachillae 10-15 cm long, second order rachillae 8-20 cm long. II. Prophyll 45 cm, sheathing peduncular bract 170 cm. Peduncle 52 cm. Rachis 45 cm. Number of 1 order rachillae 25, these 25 cm long and branching proximally. Second order rachillae 10, these 20-25 cm long. Infructescence: prophyll and peduncular bract caducuous. Peduncle 50-65 cm. rachis 50-65 cm. First order rachillae 21 to 30 cm long. Second order rachillae 25-30 cm long. Nom. vern.: "Lee-boy" |
