| Field notes | Solitary about 23 m tall palm tree, with numerous adventitious roots at the base, diam. at brest height 22 cm, basal internodes up to 20 cm long, nodes indistinct. Ten leaves. Leaf sheath split to the base, marginally desintegrated in fibrous mesh, green with brown caducuous feltation. Petiole and leaf sheath combined 175 cm long. Petiole convex-concave in CS. Rachis 320-340 cm long. PInnae 2 X 60-70, subalternate, distributed in one plane |
