| Field notes | Herb, 30-40 cm. On dark spot close to path, leaves red beneath. Flowers light blue. Nom. vern.: Ascatcha-remedio-tapé (Cayapa). Use: For severe pneumonias coughing blood (tuberculo- sis?). Prep.: The crude leaves are ground under cold water and the extract drunk 3 times a day. |
