| Field notes | Shrub, 1.5-2 m. In garden close to riverbank. Flowers white. Nom. vern.: /'Donga-haki (Cayapa), Borachera (Span.). Use: For tumours and also used as a hallucinogenic. Prep.: For tumours the leaves are boiled and used for making a plaster. As a hallucinogenic, the leaves are crushed and a teaspoon of the extract taken with water. |
