| Field notes | Tree, 5 m tall. On riverbank. Bark with white latex. Nom. vern.: Piñ-sa-chi (Cayapa). Use: Timber, and fishing (Ichtyotoxin). Prep.: For fishing, the bark is ground and thrown into the river. The fishes are said to die or be paralysed immediately. |
