| Field notes | Herb, 30-40 cm. Close to trail. Flowers white. Nom. vern.: Lui.n-tapé (Cayapa). Use: For a disease which brings about fever and swellings of the legs (deficiency disease?). Prep.: The whole plant is either crushed with a small amount of water or boiled to a paste. Both are used for rubbing the skin of the legs. |
