| Field notes | Solitary rattan with leaves persistent to the base. Stem 3 m long, 7 cm in diam. sheaths included. Proximal 75 cm of leaf sheath tubula, distal part spiny. Petiole length variable, those of the basal leaves the longest to 130 cm long. Rachis 270 cm. Pinnae 139, subopposite. |
