| Field notes | On slope facing creek, terra firme. Clustering with 4 shoots >2 m tall and one shoot newly appeared. Adventitious roots numerous. Internodes to 8 cm long basally, stem DBH 7 cm. Shoot collected 4.20 m long to the crownshaft. Upper internodes green, lower internodes grayish-brown. Proximal 37 cm of leaf sheath tubula, this yellow to cream distally. Non tubular part 19 cm long with brown ragged chartaceous margin. Rachis 250 cm long, pinnae 67, subopposite. Series of buds fixed in Navashin. Stamens collected for pollen grain germination |
