| Field notes | 40835 Clustered rattan. Shoot collected 8.25 m long. Leaves 22, inserted 50 cm apart on the middle of the stem, 90 apart apically. The upper 2.5 m of stem bearing flowering branches. Leaf sheaths tubular on basal 60 cm, upper 25 cm spiny. Petiole 11 cm, spiny marginally. Leafy part of rachis 2.9 m, spiny part 1.45. Pinnae 45, subopposite basally alternate in the middle part, opposite subdistally, subopposite distally. |
