| Field notes | Small, solitary palm tree about 3 m tall. Stem about 4 cm in diam. Distance between upper nodes 5.5 cm. Leaf base tubular, greenish covered by grey feltation, rim brown, chartaceous. Petiole 20-25 cm long. Rachis 140 cm long. Number of pinnae 2 X 8, subopposite, closer inserted basally than apically, three pronged. Infructescence branched to second order. Fruits unripe, green. |
