| Field notes | Caespitose. Stem green, stepped by leaf scars, internodes 12-15 cm long basally, 6-8 cm long distally, diam. 3-3.5 cm. Inflorescence and infructescence with pink tinge. Leaf sheath 45-50 cm long, yellow, often greenish basally, proximal 35-40 cm tubular. Petiole 25-40 cm long, light green to yellowish on abaxial face, glabrous. Rachis 80-90 cm long, green adaxially, yellow abaxially. Pinnae 2 X 19-20, distributed in one plane, evenly spaced except ditally. Photos. Miscellaneous material fixed in Navashin. |
