| Field notes | Acaulescent. Petiole 215 cm long. Rachis 428 cm long. Pinnae unevenly distributed in groups of up to 5, pointing in various directions above the plane. Male flowers red with strong scent of Valeriana officinalis (cantharofilous pollination syndrome?). Floral buds fixed in 30% formalin. |
