| Field notes | Solitary. Stem 370 cm tall, 4.5 cm in DBH, internodes 18-20 cm long in the middle part, 8-10 cm long distally and here green, leaf scars 10-15 mm wide, dark brown. Leaves 7. Leaf sheath tubular for proximal 40 cm forming a 48-50 cm long green, glabrous crownshaft. Petiole 18-24 cm long, green, glabrous. Rachis 150-165 cm long. Pinnae 2 X 18-20, irregularly sized, distributed in one plane. |
