| Field notes | Short palm tree with stem 210 cm tall, diam. at brest height 25-30 cm. Leaves numerous. Leaf sheath desintegrating masrginallyin narrow fibrous mesh. Petiole indistinct or lacking. Rachis 3-3.2 m long. Pinnae 2 X 135, irregularly distributed, pointing in different directions, in groups of up to 4 in the middle part. One bud, one inflorescence and six infructescences in various stages of fruit maturation. |
