| Field notes | Solitary. Stem 2.5 m tall. Diameter 4 cm. Leaves in crown 6. Crown shaft 45 cm. Leaf petiole 34 cm. Leaf rachis 116 cm with 8 x 2 leaflets. Leaf petiole and rachis with black hairs. Individual collected bearing one almost mature infructescence, one immature infructescence, one inflorescence in bud and one inflorescence still contained in prophyll.
