| Field notes | Trunk solitary, with cone of widely spaced spiny stilt roots approx 2 m high, approx 12 m tall, 15 cm diam. Crown shaft green, approx 1.5 m. Leaves 7. Petiole 20 cm long, round. Rachis 2.8 m long, -shaped. Rachis with 22 pinnae per side, approx 10 cm apart. Pinnae divided into 6 segments, the distal shortest and broadest, 15 cm wide, 70 cm long, with whitish lines on adaxial surface. The other segments linear, 2-3 cm wide, up to 70 cm long, the proximal 2 of each pair of pinnae close together and upright on rachis. 1 inflorescence and 1 infructescence with mature fruit.
