| Field notes | Stems clustered, climbing, to 3 m tall, 1.5 cm diameter. Knee present; flagella present; cirri absent; ocreas obscure; petioles 25 cm long; rachises 90 cm long with regularly arranged, linear pinnae spreading in the same plane. Staminate inflorescences 5 m long with distant partial inflorescences; bracts subtending partials tubular but open and brown at the apices; partials with short, recurved rachillae and the apical rachilla much longer than the others.
