| Field notes | Rhcophytic palm growing amongst rocks on the banks of the river. Stems clustered, forming tight clumps, 1.5 m tall, 4 cm diameter, green. Leaves stiffly erect; sheaths closed, green, 39 cm long, with ears at the apices; petioles 7 cm long; rachis 88 cm long with 19 pinnae per side, these linear, regularly arranged and spreading in the same plane. Innorescences infrafoliar. “cau rung” |
