| Field notes | Stems clustered, with one main stem to 1 m tall and 3 cm diameter, and with basal shoots. Leaves 9; sheaths 15 cm long, with 12 cm long ocreas; petioles 86 cm long, with black spines near base only; blades 63 cm across with 13-14 segments, the middle one split to the base into two segments, these only slightly wider than the others. Inflorescences erect, to 65 cm long, with two partial inflorescences. Fruits whitish, with reflexed sepals and petals. Possibly dioecious, with this the pistillate plant and AH 3428 the staminate plant. V.N.: "la non" |
