| Field notes | Stems apparently solitary, 2 m tall, 3 cm diameter, brown, rough. Leaves 11; sheaths 14 cm long; petioles 86 cm long, spiny only at the bases; blade 82 cm across with 16 segments, more or less equally wide but the central one split all the way to the base into two, slightly wider segments. Inflorescences erect with 2-3 partial inflorescences. |
