| Field notes | Stems clustered, 1.5 m tall, 5.5 cm diameter, brown. Leaves 7; sheaths 57 cm long, closed, yellowish; petioles 52 cm long; rachis 111 cm long with 20 pinnae per side, these with brown ramenta abaxially. Sterile plant but young bud with 7 rachillae. DNA specimen V.n. “cau rung”. |
