| Field notes | Stems clustered, apparently not climbing, free-standing, 2 m tall, 3 cm diam, green, the internodes 6 cm long. Sheaths green, open almost to the base, 20 cm long, with oblique rings of yellow, black-tipped spines; knee absent; flagella absent; ocreas prominent with oblique rings of black spines; petioles 144 cm long, with rings of spines as the sheaths; rachis 153 cm long with 27 pinnae per side, these irregularly arranged but not strongly clustered, spreading almost in the seme plant. Sterile plant. DNA specimen. N.V. “heo” |
