| Field notes | Lowland forest. Stems clustered, 5 m long, 1 cm diameter. Sheaths green, without tomentum, with scattered yellowish-brown spines; ocreas membranous, 1,5 cm long; knees present; flagella 104 cm long; petioles 5 cm long;rachis 40 cm long with 8 pinnae per side, these in remote, opposite pairs, the apical pair joined at their bases, all pinnae silvery-gray abaxially. Inflorescences not flagellate, 90 cm long. DNA specimen. V.n. “may dang”. |
