| Field notes | Stems clustered, 6 m long, 1,8 cm diameter with sheaths. Sheaths light green with brownish tomentum, with scattered spines; knees present; ocreas small; flagella present; petioles 18 cm long; rachis 119 cm long with 41 pinnae per side, these irregulary arranged in clusters 2-3 pinnae of a cluster spreading in different planes. Sterile. v.n. “may cat”. |
