| Field notes | Stems solitary, 3 m tall, covered with persistent leaf bases. Leaves circular in outline, 201 cm wide, with 86 segments, these split for about one third their length, the apices stiff and erect. Inflorescences erect, to 1 m long, with 4 main branches. Leaves commonly used for thatching. v.n. “co”. |
