| Field notes | Stems solitary, short and subterranean, 6 cm diameter. Leaves 15; sheaths 20 cm long; petioles 130 cm long, spiny almost throughout; blades 94 cm diameter with 9-10 segments, the middle one split for at least two thirds its length into two lobes, all segments mottled light and dark green. Inflorescences 60 cm long, recurved, with 2-3 rachillae. DNA specimen. V.n. “la non”. |
