| Field notes | Stems clustered, 25 m long, 3 cm diameter with sheaths brown, densely covered with black spines; knees present; ocreas short or absent; petioles 30 cm long; rachis 230 cm long with 32 regularly arranged pinnae per side; cirri 86 cm long. Infructescences with more or less globose, yellowish fruits. V.n. “may rung”. |
