| Field notes | Stems Clustered, to 4 m tall, 2.5 cm diameter, reddish. Leaves 6; sheaths 29 cm long, yellowish-green; petioles 10 cm long; rachis 77 cm long with 8-9 pinnae per side. Inflorescences infrafoliar, pendulous, with 3-4 rachillae; triads distichously arranged. V.n. “cau rung”. |
