| Field notes | Stems clustered, to 1.5 m tall, 2 cm diameter. Leaves 6; Petioles 50 cm long; rachis 174 cm long with 8 primary pinnae per side, each to 54 cm long with to 7 secondary pinnae per side. Inflorescences terminal, with staminate and pistillate flowers, other stems with to 4 inflorescences. Very abundant palm in the understory in this area. DNA specimen. V.n. “dung dinh”. |
