| Field notes | Stems clustered, 0.9 m tall, 1 cm diameter, green. Leaves 5; sheaths 11 cm long, not forming a crownshaft; petioles 59 cm long; rachis 38 cm long with 5-6-pinnae per side. Inflorescences bursting through the leaf sheaths, with more or less persistent prophyll; rachillae 2-3, erect; triads distichously arranged; stamens 9. DNA specimen. V.n. “cau nui”. |
