| Field notes | Stems clustered, 4 m long, 2.7 cm diameter with leaf sheaths. Sheaths green with brown tomentum; ocreas 1.7 cm long, knee obscure; petioles 35 cm long; rachis 120 cm long with 35 pinnae per side, these regulary arranged but with gaps, in the same plane except at the base of rachis; cirrus 95 cm long. Only seen at lower elevations in disturbed areas by roads and rivers. “may nuoc” |
