Field notes Stems clustered, forming large clumps, 15 m long, 0.7 cm diameter. Sheaths green, without tomentum, with scattered, short black spines, a few spines longer at the sheath apex; ocreas present, bristly; knee obscure; flagellum present, short, to 15 cm long;petioles absent; rachis 9-13 cm long with 3 pinnae per side; cirrus 54 cm long. Inflorescences 35 cm long, not flagellate, flowers spirally arranged. DNA specimen. v.n. “may cam mo”
