| Field notes | Stems clustered, 7 m tall, 1.5 cm diameter with sheaths green with brown tomentum, with scattered, green spines; ocreas absent; knee present; petiole absent on older plants; rachis 35 cm long with 9 pinnae per side, these clustered in groups of 2 and spreading in different planes, the basal pinnae swept back across the sheath. Inflorescence flagellate, 90 cm long. DNA specimen. v.n. “may tat” |
