| Field notes | Disturbed forest by road, limestone area. Stems solitary, 7 m tall, 2 cm diameter with leaf sheaths. Sheaths mottled greenish-brown, densely covered with downward-pointing spines; petioles 22 cm long; rachis 135 cm long with 19 pinnae per side, these clustered and spreading in different planes. Sterile plant. DNA specimen. |
