| Field notes | Stems clustered, the flowering stem to 1.5 m tall, 4 cm diameter, other stems acaulescent. Rachis 220 cm long; primary pinnae 11 per side of rachia, each with 8 secondary pinnae. Inflorescences 2, the apical one with 21 rachillae, pistillate, the lower one in bud. |
