| Field notes | Stems clustered, to 2.5 m tall, 1.5 cm diameter. Leaves 12; sheaths with black fibers; petioles 65 cm; blades with 8-9 segments, these broad and slightly pendulous at the apices, not hooded. Staminate plant, inflorescences yellowwish; rachillae pinkish-red, flowers yellow. DNA specimen. V.n. “cau lui”. |
