| Field notes | Stems cespitose, ca 5 m tall, 10 cm diam. Leaves with abaxial surface of petiole smooth, adaxial surface with small scales. Inflorescence infrafoliar; rachillae more or less all round rachis. Inflorescence smaller with shorter rachillae, these thinner and whiter than E. percatoria. Also flower pits seem smaller |
