| Field notes | Terrestial herb, 2.5 m. Rhizome long-creeping. 8-22 leaves per shoot. Sheath and leaves glabrous, plain green. Petiole ca. 1.5 cm. Inflorescence at soil surface or below with ca. 3 fls. per infl. Bracts pale yellow. Labellum elongated with bifid apex, red; proximal part darker red with whitish edges. |
