| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to c. 40 cm tall (55 incl. lamina). leafy shoot with 1-2 leaves. Lower sheath pale brown, subterranean. Petiole 11-32 cm long.Pulvinus 13 mm long, yellow-green. Lamina to 20 x 5.5 cm, variegated yellow-green with dark green. Inflorescence terminal. Peduncle extends to 14 cm. Flowers cream. Fruit pale green, with 3 greyish brown seeds |
