| Field notes | Terrestrial herb in dense clump. Leafy shoot to 2.5 n long. Base to 4.5 cm diam. Sheath yellow-green. Ligule to 7 mm long. Petiole to 9 cm long. Lamina to 60 x 8 cm. Inflorescence terminal. pendent, second. Axis yellow-green. Spike 5-7(-11 when fruiting) cm long. Peduncle 11-12 cm long. Flowers upside down. Bracteole pale yellow-green when young, brown when old. Calyx pale yellow-green. Corolla white; lobs pale yellow-green. Labellum pale yellow. Stamen white (male flowers). Fruit globose, pale green, immature. Material in spirit. DNA sampled. |
