| Field notes | Terrestrial herb. Leafy shoot to 1.8 m long, caulescent to 60 cm, with 7 leaves. Petiole to 30 cm long, canaliculate. Lamina 80 x 18 cm, plicate, mid-green with a purple line at mid rib above. Inflorescence to 75 cm long (measured from base), terminal/central. Bracts pale green with red-brown apices. Coma purple-brown. Calyx membranous. Corolla tube cream; lobes pale pink. Labellum pale yellow with central yellow band. Lateral staminodes pale yellow. Filament pale yellow, anther yellow, spur pale yellow. Stigma white. |
