| Field notes | Terrestial herb in dense clump. Leafy shoot to 1 m long. Sheath green. Ligule membrabous, to 2 cm long. Lamina to 30 x 8 cm. Inflorescence to 30 cm long. Peduncle to 20 cm long. Spike 10 x 4 cm. Bracts green and +/- red, mucilagenous. Calyx membranous white. Flowers plain pale yellow. Material in spirit. DNA sampled. |
