| Field notes | Terrestrial herb in dense clump (< 1 0 cm between shoots). Leafy shoots to 1.3 m long. Sheath pale green. Ligule to 2 cm long, pale green, pubescent. Lamina sessile, to 37 x 9 cm, mid-green, beneath pubescent. Inflorescence terminal, erect to 14 cm long. Axis pale yellow-green. Ovary dark green. Calyx white. Corolla white incl. lobes. Staminodes dark reddish-brown in lower half. Labellum 3-lobed, white; central lobe bifid with red stripes; lateral lobes with a few red stripes and a green band towards centre.
