| Field notes | Terrestial herb inclump (< 10 cm between shoots). Leafy shoot 2 m long. Base of leafy shoot to 4.5 cm diam. Sheath yellow-green. Ligule to 4 mm long, pale yellow-green, bilobed. Lamina to 125 x 18 cm, plicate, base attenuate. Inflorescence appearing from pseudostem 33-50 cm above base, branching 6-7 times; branch 20-45 cm long, mucilagenous. Bracts brown, buds red. Labellum yellow with reddish, radiating line. Staminodes white. Stamen pale yellow. Stigma white. Material in spirit. DNA sampled. |
