| Field notes | Terrestrial herb in dense clump of several shoots. Leafy shoot to 1.7 m with 2–3 leaves. Lamina to 52 x 14.5 cm, plicate. Inflorescence appearing just below pulvinus. Bracts pale brown. Fruit pale yellowish brown or green. Vernacular name: nene (Bola language). Material in spirit. DNA sampled. = Poulsen 2552. |
