| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 2.5 m, in clump. Leafy shoot 4.3 m long. Petiole to 10 mm, lamina to 46 x 10 cm. Inflorescence radical, erect; peduncle to 63 cm; spike to 30 cm; bracts white tinged pink at apex and with age; flower pale yellow; fruit cream. Deposited at: AAU, BO, E, Andalas University.
