| Field notes | Terrestrial herb to 2 m. In clump (< 10 cm between shoots). Leafy shoot with up to 16 leaves. Base 2-3.5 cm, brown. Sheath green, ligule brownish, leaves plain green. Inflorescence from base, 13 cm long with c. 12 flowers. Peduncle 3-5 cm, scales and bracts brown. Flowers white except labellum with central yellow bordered by red stripes. Infructescence with 5 fruits; fruits brown, 1.5 cm across, globular to obpyriform. Deposited at: AAU, BKF, E, PSU (including material in spirit) |
