| Field notes | Terrestial herb, 1.9 m, in clump. Lamina obovate to 55 by 24 cm, plicate, plain green. 1 m to node from which derives one leaf and one inflorescence; 24 cm to pulvinus; 26.5 cm to inflorescence (peduncle). Inflorescence with 10 branches. Lower bract 3 cm, brown; other bracts green going brown. Pulvinus 9-10 cm, dark green. Flowers cream. Probably the same species seen sterile from 500 m.a.s.l. and higher elevation. Material also preserved in spirit. Photographed. |
